Today I read an online conversation between two 12 year old girls and I didn’t understand what they were talking about with all their “plz” and “I 4got 2 give u fbf” and “rofl o cd9 cu l8r”. Well anyways it made me wonder will we be telling our kids one day “In my day we actually wrote out the whole word.” and I can almost see those kids faces when they hear that and exclaim “Woah how could you remember how to spell all that!”. I hope this never happens because then I would have no idea what people were saying.
